The system allows the use of the stove when the timer is activated and the activation key is at the position OFF. The stove turns on for the pre-set specified time and turns off automatically when the timer is finished. If the activation key is at the position ON, the system works for an unspecified time period as if there were no Safecook^MC  mechanism.
